Role Description

This is not a traditional accounting role.

The Financial Controller will act as the bridge between Finance, Business Operations, and Leadership by owning management reporting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A;), budgeting, forecasting, business performance reviews, and strategic financial initiatives.

The role requires someone who can interpret financial data, provide actionable business insights, improve financial processes, and support executive decision-making across multiple business units.

You will work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to corporate finance, business strategy, investment planning, and global financial operations.





Roles and Responsibilities

· Prepare monthly MIS, management reports, and executive dashboards for leadership review.

· Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial planning models.

· Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights on financial performance.

· Analyse revenue, profitability, margins, and identify cost optimization opportunities.

· Build financial models to support strategic business decisions and investment planning.

· Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health of the organization.

· Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Strengthen internal financial controls, governance, and reporting processes.

· Coordinate with auditors and finance teams to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.

· Partner with business and functional leaders to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

· Conduct financial feasibility studies and prepare business cases for new projects and investments.

· Support commercial decision-making through pricing analysis, profitability assessment, and capital allocation recommendations.

business performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

· Drive process improvements by automating finance reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.

Experience A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Financial Controlling, or Strategic Finance is required. Exposure to management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business partnering is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline

· CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or CFA qualification will be preferred

· Strong knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

· Experience in preparing MIS reports, management dashboards, and executive presentations

· Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools is preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

· Experience in process improvement, automation, and implementation of finance best practices will be an added advantage

· Exposure to SaaS metrics, business analytics, or AI-enabled finance tools will be considered a plus
