Role Description The Finance Manager role at Elgi Sauer Compressors Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore.

The Finance

Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include monitoring cost structures, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closures. The role involves preparing management reports, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies, and coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.





The Finance

Manager will also support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, variance analysis, and management information systems.
- Experience with accounting principles, general ledger management, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret financial trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets and ERP/finance software; comfort with digital tools and automation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work under deadlines.
- Skilled qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior finance role within manufacturing or industrial sectors is an advantage.
