Field Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation

Role Description

We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to drive sales of industrial automation products and solutions in Hyderabad and surrounding regions. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, meeting customers, understanding application requirements, promoting automation solutions, preparing techno-commercial quotations, conducting product presentations, negotiating orders, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

The candidate will work closely with the technical team to deliver the right solutions while achieving sales targets and expanding V-Axis’ customer base.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Industrial Automation Sales or Technical Sales.
- Hands-on knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Servo Systems, VFDs, Sensors, Machine Vision, Safety Products, and Industrial Networking.
- Experience in selling products from brands such as Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, ABB, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Horner, Fuji, or similar is preferred.
- Strong skills in customer acquisition, account management, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Ability to prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries, and close orders.
- Valuable communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
- Valid driving license is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Existing network with OEMs, Panel Builders, System Integrators, and End Users.
- Basic understanding of industrial control panels and automation project execution.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and passionate about industrial automation.
