Subhas Chandra Bose Resident Fellowship (2026–27) About the Chair The Subhas Chandra Bose Chair on International Relations is a flagship initiative of the School of Law, Governance and Public Policy at Chanakya University, Bengaluru. The Chair focuses on high-impact interdisciplinary research in international relations, strategic studies, foreign policy, regional cooperation, and emerging global challenges, particularly from an Indian and Asian perspective. The Chair is currently led by Ashok K.
Kantha as the Inaugural Chair Professor.

Civilisational perspectives in international relations Role and Expectations of the Fellow The Resident Fellow will be expected to:
Undertake independent and cooperative research under the guidance of the Chair
Contribute to policy briefs, issue papers, working papers, and publications
Participate in seminars, conferences, roundtables, and academic discussions
Support research initiatives related to neighbourhood studies and regional affairs
Engage with students, scholars, policymakers, and practitioners
Contribute to the intellectual and academic activities of the Chair Eligibility
