Role Description The F&B; Consultant role at Ecomnomics is a full time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The consultant will advise F&B; clients on menu engineering, pricing, product positioning, and operational improvements tailored to food delivery and retail channels.

Day-to-day tasks include assessing current offerings, analyzing performance data on aggregator platforms, recommending changes to menus and packaging, and coordinating with client teams to implement strategies. The role also involves collaborating with internal specialists on growth management, digital marketing,



and e-commerce to ensure cohesive brand and revenue objectives. The consultant will regularly visit client locations, conduct tastings or trials as needed, and prepare concise reports and presentations that translate insights into actionable steps.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and industry trends, with the ability to advise on menu, pricing, and customer experience.
- Background in Food Technology or related fields, enabling informed recommendations on product quality, shelf life, and safety standards.
- Culinary Skills sufficient to understand recipe development, portioning, and presentation, and to collaborate effectively with kitchen teams.
- Sales and Catering experience to support revenue growth, B2B opportunities, and event or bulk-order strategies for F&B; brands.
- Analytical and consulting skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and preparation of clear client reports and action plans.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with strength in client-facing discussions and cross-functional coordination.
- Comfort working on-site in Kolkata with frequent client interactions; previous experience in F&B; consulting, cloud kitchens, or restaurant management is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background in hospitality, food technology, business, or a similar discipline is preferred.
