Stosi is a fashion-forward minimal menswear brand built for people who want to look sharp without being loud.

The brand was created from a simple observation: most clothing in the market sits at two extremes. On one side, loud, trend-driven streetwear filled with oversized graphics and branding. On the other, plain basics that lack structure, personality, and up-to-date silhouettes.

Stosi was built to exist in the middle. We focus on modern silhouettes, strong structure, premium heavyweight fabrics, and intentional details — without relying on loud graphics or excessive branding. Every piece is designed to feel understated yet distinctive, something that naturally becomes part of your everyday wardrobe rather than a short-lived trend purchase.

But Stosi is more than just clothing. At its core, the brand is rooted in the idea of intentional living — owning fewer things, but choosing better ones. We believe style should feel effortless, and that the best clothing communicates through fit, fabric, silhouette, and quiet confidence rather than noise.

We're looking for a Head Designer to own the creative and product direction of Stosi.

This is a senior, hands-on role. You will shape what Stosi makes, how it fits, how it feels, and how it evolves season after season. You'll work directly with the founder, lead the design process end to end,



and have real authority over the product. As the brand grows, this role grows with it — including building and leading a design team.

If you care about garments as objects — fabric weight, the fall of a sleeve, the exact placement of a seam — and you believe restraint is harder and more rewarding than excess, this role is built for you. What You'll Do

Own the seasonal design direction and the drop calendar — from concept to delivered product

Design menswear collections across shirts, jackets, trousers, t-shirts, knitwear, and new categories as the brand expands

Develop complete tech packs: flat sketches, measurements, construction notes, trim sheets

Source and select fabrics, with a focus on premium materials

Lead fit development, sampling, and quality control alongside production partners

Maintain and evolve Stosi's design language — keeping it minimal, structured, and distinctive

Track silhouette and material trends without letting the brand drift into noise

Collaborate with the founder on product strategy, range planning, and which pieces to expand, iterate, or retire

Work with the marketing team on how products are presented and styled

Build and mentor a design team as Stosi scales What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in apparel or fashion design, preferably in menswear





Solid network of manufacturers, garment traders and fabric suppliers in Mumbai and throughout the country A strong portfolio that demonstrates a clear point of view — ideally minimal, structured, premium work

Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern logic, fit development, and tech packs

Genuine fabric knowledge — you can talk weight, weave, drape, and finishing

Experience working with manufacturers and production units, ideally within India An eye that defaults to restraint — you make pieces better by removing, not adding

Awareness of global menswear and streetwear, with the discipline to filter trends through a brand lens

Ownership mentality — comfortable making decisions and being accountable for the product Nice to Have A degree in fashion design (NIFT, Pearl Academy, NID, or equivalent)

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; CLO 3D or other 3D garment software is a plus

Prior experience at a D2C or digital-native brand

Experience building or leading a small design team What You'll Get
