We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Soft Furnishings Design Assistant to support our team in curtain design, fabric selection, styling, and client presentations. The role involves assisting clients and designers in choosing curtains that complement the overall interior design, colour palette, and functionality of each space.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in curtain design and fabric selection based on the interior theme and client requirements.
- Recommend suitable colours, textures, patterns and fabric combinations.
- Assist in selecting sheer curtains, main curtains, blinds and layered window treatments.
- Suggest appropriate curtain styles such as wave, pinch pleat, eyelet, Roman blinds and other contemporary styles.
- Coordinate curtain selections with wall colours, furniture, upholstery, rugs and other soft furnishings.
- Understand basic fabric characteristics including fall, opacity, light filtration,



maintenance and durability.
- Assist clients during fabric and curtain selection appointments.
- Prepare and maintain fabric swatches, sample books and selection boards.
- Help prepare mood boards and curtain presentations for clients.
- Take or verify basic window measurements and understand curtain dimensions.
- Coordinate with vendors, tailors and installation teams for sampling, stitching and execution.
- Maintain records of client selections, fabric codes, quantities and specifications.
- Follow up on orders and ensure the final curtain installation matches the approved design.
- Stay updated on current fabrics, curtain styles, tracks, accessories and soft-furnishing trends.
