Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Facade Estimation Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The role involves preparing detailed quantities and BOQs for façade works, analyzing drawings and specifications, and developing accurate cost estimations for ongoing and upcoming projects.

The Facade Estimation

Engineer will coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams to clarify technical requirements, validate scope, and support tendering and negotiation processes. Daily responsibilities include reviewing contractor and supplier quotations, conducting market and technical research for façade materials and systems, and updating estimation databases and cost benchmarks.



The role also requires supporting value engineering efforts, ensuring compliance with company standards, and contributing to timely, cost-effective project execution.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in quantity take-off and BOQ preparation, with hands-on experience in façade-related measurements and documentation.

Proficiency in project estimation and cost analysis, including budgeting, tender estimation, and rate build-up for façade systems.

Academic background in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with practical knowledge of building construction and façade technologies.

Negotiation skills for working with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders on pricing, scope, and commercial terms.

Ability to conduct structured research on materials, systems, and market trends to support accurate and competitive estimations.

Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and relevant codes/standards;

experience with estimation or CAD software is an advantage.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage timelines in a fast-paced project environment.

Prior experience in façade engineering or estimation within real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects will be highly beneficial.
