Role Description The Estimation Assistant Manager – MEP Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for MEP works, including analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

The position involves coordinating with design, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather pricing data, validate quantities, and ensure estimates align with technical requirements and project timelines.

The Estimation Assistant

Manager will support bid preparation, value engineering, and proposal documentation, while tracking market rates, supplier quotations,



and cost trends. The role also includes assisting in risk assessment for bids, maintaining estimation databases, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimation processes for high-complexity MEP projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in expediting and working as an expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Candidates should possess project management skills to coordinate estimation activities, timelines, and cross-functional communication.
- Candidates should possess inspection-related skills to review technical documents, BOQs, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Candidates should possess logistics management skills to understand material flow, lead times, and cost impacts on project estimates.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience in MEP projects.
- Experience in estimation for MEP or construction projects, preferably in data centers, industrial facilities, or commercial infrastructure.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills, with proficiency in estimation or costing software and familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM tools as an advantage.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site and manage multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety practices; prior exposure to ISO-certified environments is beneficial.
