About the Role
We are looking for a Python Backend Developer with experience in Frappe Framework / ERPNext to build, customize, and maintain scalable business applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Python and backend fundamentals, along with hands-on experience in developing and customizing ERPNext/Frappe applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain applications using Frappe Framework and ERPNext .
- Build and optimize backend services and REST APIs using Python.
- Develop custom modules, DocTypes, workflows, reports, and integrations.
- Work with relational databases such as MariaDB/MySQL and optimize queries and application performance.
- Integrate ERPNext with third-party systems and external APIs.
- Debug production issues and implement effective and permanent solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Work with frontend, QA, product, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions,
and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to performance optimization, scalability, and system reliability.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python .
- Hands-on experience with Frappe Framework / ERPNext .
- Valuable understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases , preferably MariaDB/MySQL.
- Good understanding of OOP and software development fundamentals.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Redis, caching, and background jobs .
- Knowledge of Celery/RQ or similar job-processing frameworks.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ/Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with application monitoring and performance optimization.
