Owns the end-to-end technical architecture across all workstreams. Acts as the single point of architectural authority, ensuring solutions are consistent, secure, and scalable across AWS and Microsoft-based environments, and arbitrates trade-offs between teams working on parallel builds.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the target-state architecture spanning AWS (Bedrock, Fargate, Lambda, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, S3) and Azure (AI Foundry, Document Intelligence) environments.
Set integration standards for Microsoft Graph API/Teams-based delivery channels used across chatbot, translation, and document-processing services.
Review and approve designs to ensure reusable patterns (callback/consumer mechanisms, notification handlers, session/context storage) are not duplicated across builds.
Evaluate integration options where core business systems restrict API access or screen scraping, and recommend viable architectural workarounds.
Represent technical architecture in governance forums and in scoping discussions for new builds.
Define non-functional requirements: security, data residency, exactly-once processing guarantees, and disaster recovery across a multi-site delivery model.
Required Experience
10+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, including 3+ years designing GenAI/agentic systems in production.
Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS Bedrock, Bedrock Agent Core, Amazon Nova, Fargate, and event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS).
Experience architecting solutions that span two cloud providers (AWS + Azure) in a single setting.
Regulated industry background strongly preferred; understands the difference between "automatable" and activity that must remain human-owned.
Track record of standing up architecture governance under an aggressive delivery timeline
