Primary Responsibilities

Product Development & System Engineering

- Develop and engineer BESS solutions comprising Battery Packs, BMS, PCS, EMS, HVAC, Fire Suppression, and Auxiliary Systems.
- Define system architecture, technical specifications, and product requirements.
- Support the development of modular and scalable BESS platforms for Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) and Utility-scale applications.
- Participate in new product development activities from concept to commercialization.

PCS & Electrical System Integration

- Lead the integration of PCS with battery systems and EMS platforms.
- Develop electrical architecture, including MV/LV distribution schemes.
- Prepare and review SLDs, GA drawings, cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, and control logic documents.
- Support grid interconnection and utility compliance requirements.

Design, Engineering, Testing & Documentation

- Perform calculations and equipment sizing for PCS, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Review vendor drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, UL, and applicable grid standards.
- Develop validation plans, test procedures, and support FAT, SAT, product qualification testing, and certification activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications, BOMs, engineering standards, product manuals, installation & commissioning documents, validation reports, and engineering change records.

Secondary Responsibilities Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams.




- Support supplier technical evaluations and component selection.
- Coordinate with Project Execution teams for product deployment support.
- Participate in customer discussions and technical presentations.

Product Improvement

- Drive cost reduction and product standardization initiatives.
- Support localization of components and subsystems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in battery storage and power electronics.

Technical Support

- Provide engineering support during commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Participate in root cause analysis for field failures.
- Assist Service teams in resolving product-related technical issues.

Education, Experience & Skills Required

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy is preferred.

Preferred Industry

- BESS, Renewable Energy, Power Electronics, Solar Inverters, PCS, or Power Systems.

Experience

- 7–8 years of experience in Product Engineering, System Engineering, or Design Engineering, with hands-on experience in BESS product development and PCS integration.
