- Possess strong knowledge of welding processes, including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SAW, along with a clear understanding of different welding methods.
- Demonstrate expertise in manufacturing processes such as gas cutting, bending, and material handling.
- Should have knowledge of pressure part manufacturing/Medium to light fabrication.
- Supervise both unionized and contract workmen to ensure effective manufacturing within specified timeframes and allocated resources.
- Prioritize safety, quality (First-Time Right), and housekeeping (5S) initiatives.
- Leverage knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate activities across various service departments, including outsourcing, quality control, and welding.
- Execute and support hydro testing of pressure part components,



including coordination with shop floor and quality teams for inspections and timely completion.
- Troubleshoot issues related to machining, welding, bending, distortion correction, and cutting.
- Supervise shop floor workmen to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of tasks within allocated resources.
- Promote and enforce safety, quality (First-Time Right), and housekeeping (5S) practices.
- Exhibit proficiency in SAP and general computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Embrace the continuous improvement philosophy of Kaizen.
