The company is partnered with world-class manufacturing facilities to manage projects from design through manufacturing, installation, and commissioning. ENCON is also active in air testing, indoor air quality analysis, flue gas analysis, and comprehensive thermal and air audits that help clients improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.

Role Description This full time on-site role, based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, is for an Engineer or Draftsman supporting thermal engineering and waste heat recovery projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings and 3D models, developing layouts and detailed designs for thermal and mechanical systems, and updating documentation as projects progress. The role involves coordinating with senior engineers on design calculations, material selection, and equipment specifications,



as well as supporting project execution from concept to installation and commissioning.

The Engineer/Draftsman will also assist with data collection and report preparation for thermal audits, air audits, and performance testing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Collaboration with internal teams, manufacturing partners, and clients is expected to support timely, high-quality project deliverables.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in technical drawing and drafting, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and creating detailed mechanical layouts.

Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in thermal engineering, heat transfer, and mechanical design principles relevant to waste heat recovery and thermal projects.

Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, report preparation, and documentation for audits, performance testing, and project records.

Candidates should possess good communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, manufacturing partners, and clients on-site.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications is required.

Prior experience in industrial projects, energy audits, or thermal systems will be considered an advantage.
