Job Summary The industrial electrician keeps production lines running safely and efficiently. This role fixes machine faults, runs routine checks, and reduces downtime across plant electrical infrastructure
Key Duties
- Inspect and repair factory assembly lines, motors, and automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Run daily preventive maintenance on circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring.
- Read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Fix sudden power issues or machine breakdowns during shifts.
- Follow factory safety laws and wear proper gear at all times. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Job Requirements
- High school diploma plus an ITI, vocational training diploma, or electrician apprenticeship.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on work in a factory or industrial plant setting.
- Strong skills with multimeters and other testing tools.
- Good knowledge of industrial safety rules.
- Ready to work in shifts or handle on-call duties when needed
