Basic Design (LOD 200)
- Develop LOD 200 Revit layouts for BHS LLC panel locations, field equipment (starters, PBBs, scanners, junction boxes, etc.), and cable trunking from FDPs to final loads.
- Prepare preliminary electrical containment layouts, space reservations, access clearances, and maintenance zones in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project standards.
- Coordinate with electrical designers, BHS system engineers like Mechanical , Steel and IT to know requirements and layout for LDN and MDN systems.
- Incorporate lessons learned from previous project repositiries to optimize equipment locations, cable routing, accessibility, maintainability, and installation methodology during the conceptual design stage.
- Develop preliminary standard installation typologies (typicals) for electrical panels, field equipment mounting, cable ladder/trunking routing, and support concepts to promote design consistency across the project.
- Support design reviews and vendor documentation by incorporating approved design requirements into the BIM model.
Detailed Design (LOD 350)
- Develop coordinated LOD 350 Revit models for BHS electrical systems, including panel locations, field equipment, cable ladders, cable trays, and cable trunking.
- Coordinate with MEP, architectural, structural, and other building disciplines to perform clash detection, resolve interface issues, and ensure constructability.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers and vendors to incorporate approved shop drawings, manufacturer data, and installation requirements into the BIM model.
- Develop and standardize installation typicals for cable containment, panel installations, field equipment mounting, support arrangements, penetrations,
and interface details to ensure uniform construction practices.
- Support material submittals, technical reviews, design changes / comments by updating coordinated BIM layouts.
- Finalise LDN and MDN cable containement and panel location layouts and produce coordinated drawings, sections, schedules, and BIM deliverables for IFC/construction issue.
As-Built Documentation (LOD 500)
- Update BIM models to reflect approved site modifications, installation changes, and verified as-built conditions.
- Coordinate with site engineers, installation teams, and subcontractors to capture field changes and incorporate red-line mark-ups into the final model.
- Finalize electrical layout documentation by addressing internal, consultant, contractor, and end-user review comments.
- Update and archive standard installation typicals to reflect the final installed configuration and incorporate project-specific improvements for future projects.
- Deliver coordinated LOD 500 as-built BIM models, drawings, schedules, asset information, and handover documentation in compliance with the project BEP and Asset Information Requirements (AIR).
