Roles and Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to EHS at site.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide training on safety protocols to employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to prevent reoccurrence.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 15-20 years of experience in Environment Health & Safety (EHS) role with a strong background in pharmaceutical industry.
- MS/M.Sc(Science) degree with specialization in Environmental science or equivalent qualification.
- Proven track record of implementing ISO standards such as ISO 45001:2018 (OHSAS 18001) and ISO 14001:2015 (EMS).
- Robust understanding of Indian labor laws including Factories Act, Rules, and Regulations.
