Role Description The Edtech Closers role at Tutopia Learning App is a full time, on-site position based in Kolkata. In this role, the team member will engage with prospective learners and parents, explain product features and benefits, and guide them through the enrollment process. Daily responsibilities include making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring timely follow-up to move leads toward closure.
The Edtech
Closer will maintain accurate records in the CRM, collaborate with the sales and customer support teams,
and work toward achieving individual and team sales targets. The role also involves providing feedback on customer needs and market trends to help improve Tutopia’s offerings.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills to engage clearly and confidently with students and parents.
Proven ability in Closings and Deal Closure to convert leads into successful enrollments.
Customer Service experience to handle queries, address concerns, and build trust throughout the sales process.
Familiarity with Escrow or structured payment processes is an advantage for managing secure transactions.
Prior experience in edtech or education sales is preferred, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Comfort with using CRM tools, calling software, and basic office applications.
Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, with strong time management and organizational skills.
Minimum qualification: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, education, or a related field.
