- Hands on experience in Catia V5 (Part/surface/drawing).

- Design skills based on Tooling Directions / Draft analysis.

- Surface analysis based on Tooling, Preparing markups, Communicating with Onsite.

- Sound knowledge in packaging study and master section creation.

- Design and development of EDS Wiring Brackets / Shields or Interior/ Exterior Trims from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline.

- Participating in design review meetings and provide solutions.

- Knowledge in benchmarking and cost reduction.

- Identification and resolution of design related issues during development till release.

- Knowledge of prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes of Interiors.

- Design product to cost targets.

- Knowledge in Team Center and Vis mockup.

- Demonstrate positive customer and cross functional relationships.

- Problem solving skills (8D / 6-sigma)

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

- Knowledge in MS office tools.

- Extensive experience on Sheet Metal part design and Development for multiple commodities (for e.g.

Underbody

Brackets and Shields, Wiring Shields, Etc ) new part design, on-going product development changes; digital pre-assembly.

- Experience in handling complex designs of Brackets and shields (both plastic and sheet metal) with experience of design for manufacturability.





- Extensive experience in developing CAD designs in CATIA, based on Engineering direction for above mentioned commodities.

- Facilitating Engineering review of the CAD using available collaborative tools such as Teams, IM, emails etc.

- Understanding the geometric requirements within the context of the vehicle as defined by engineering requirements.

- Applying GD&T; for completed designs.

- Ensuring the quality of CAD, meeting CAD / Manufacturing Design standards.

- Executing as well as checking the progress of the Designs, and suggest alternatives whenever required to make sure that the deliverables are met with the appropriate quality for each milestone of the Product Development process.
