Role Description The Early Childhood Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for teaching and caring for young learners in an international school environment. The role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, activities, and play-based learning experiences aligned with the school’s curricula and educational philosophy.

Daily tasks include observing and documenting children’s progress, supporting social-emotional development, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom.



The teacher collaborates with colleagues and support staff to ensure continuity in learning, communicates regularly with families, and participates in school events and career development. The role requires a commitment to fostering curiosity, independence, and respect in a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and Child Development, with the ability to apply best practices in a classroom setting.
- Demonstrated experience in Teaching and Working With Children in early years or primary school environments.
- Skills in Curriculum Development, including planning age-appropriate, inquiry-based, and play-based learning activities.
- Relevant degree or certification in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Ability to create inclusive, safe, and nurturing learning environments for children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with colleagues, families, and the wider school community.
- Experience with international curricula (e.g., British, German, Cambridge, IB) is an advantage.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and alignment with the school’s values of lifelong and meaningful learning.
