Dry Etch Process Engineer
. The candidate should have an extensive understanding of Etch mechanism and associated tools. The candidate will need to work with customers, understanding their problems, and delivery of efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own Dry Etch process engineering for CMOS/ power devices semiconductor manufacturing, including process development, optimization, and sustenance.
- Lead process startup, qualification, and production release, ensuring compliance with best known methods (BKMs) and fab standards.
- Strong understanding of Gas flow systems, RF power systems, vacuum systems, and chamber hardware
- Apply understanding of plasma chemistry and ion bombardment to troubleshoot complex etch issues.
- Utilize SPC charts to monitor process health (etch rates,
selectivity, profile and CDs), identify trends, and intervene before deviations impact yield.
Mandatory Skills:
- Master’s/Ph.D. in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or any related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor process development, with strong expertise in Dry Etch processes and related metrology.
- Robust analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies
