- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and other relevant tools.
- Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, layouts, sections, and detail drawings.
- Ensure proper application of dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, surface-finish symbols, welding symbols, and geometric details.
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufactured parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies to optimize designs for cost reduction without compromising quality or functionality.
- Develop prototypes and test them to validate design performance.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, bill of materials, and other engineering documentation.
