Deputy Project Head – Underground Mining

SK Khetan Infra Projects is one of India's leading underground mining contractors, executing large-scale mechanized underground mining projects across the country.

We are looking for an accomplished mining leader to serve as Deputy Project Head for our prestigious Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), Dariba project.

This role is ideal for professionals currently working as:

- Mine Manager
- Senior Mine Manager
- Project Manager
- Deputy Project Manager
- Mining Head
- Underground Operations Head

who are ready to lead one of India's major underground metal mining operations. We are looking for professionals who have:

✅ 15–20 years of experience in Underground Metal Mining

✅ Experience with mechanized underground mines

✅ First Class Mines Manager Certificate (DGMS) – Mandatory

✅ Experience with HZL / HCL / Vedanta / Large Underground Contractors preferred

✅ Solid exposure to production, mine development, safety, planning, and project execution

Applicants without underground mining experience or DGMS First Class Certificate will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead underground mine development and production operations.
- Achieve production, safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Drive drilling,



blasting, loading, haulage, and mine development activities.
- Lead mine planning, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure DGMS, statutory, and HSE compliance.
- Manage client relationships with Hindustan Zinc Limited.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams.
- Monitor project profitability, KPIs, budgeting, and productivity.
- Review MIS, operational reports, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications

Mandatory

- B.E./B.Tech. Mining Engineering
- First Class Mines Manager Certificate (Unrestricted)
- 15–20 years in Underground Metal Mining
- Experience leading large mechanized underground operations

Preferred

- Experience with HZL, HCL, Vedanta, or other major underground mining companies
- Exposure to contract mining/MDO projects
