Toshiba JSW Power Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Deputy Manager / Manager – Accounts (On Roll).

Experience: 07 to 16 Years

Location: Chennai Factory

Qualification- CA qualified (Mandatory), Additional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or Diploma in International Taxation would be an advantage

Role: Direct Taxation, Project Accounting, Project Accounting (POC) / Stat audit / Group Reporting, Stakeholder Management

Key Responsibilities

I. Direct Taxation

- Manage end-to-end direct tax compliance including Corporate Income Tax, Advance Tax, TDS, and other direct tax matters.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of income tax returns and related statutory forms.
- Review tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and tax disclosures in financial statements.
- Prepare and monitor tax positions in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP).
- Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities during assessments, notices, appeals, and litigations.
- Handle tax scrutiny, tax audits, transfer pricing assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and evaluate their financial and operational impact on the organization.

II Project Accounting (POC) / Stat audit / Group Reporting

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to Japan HQ for consolidation.



Ensure timely submission of reporting packs to Head quarters
- Generating POC revenue for large projects in project module in Oracle ERP system on Monthly basis. Validation of Revenue as per TB and POC revenue working file.
- Prepare financial statements with notes to accounts in accordance with Ind AS per the Statutory audit requirement.
- Audit Support : clearing of audit queries relating to the areas assigned like POC revenue , DT matters and group reporting
- Coordination with external auditors for statutory audit
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives in financial reporting and consolidation.

Stakeholder Management

- Partner with HQ, Tax Advisors, Auditors, and Business Leaders across group entities.
- Support senior management with financial and tax-related decision-making through analytical insights.
