Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution: Lead and oversee all civil engineering activities related to power and energy projects including site preparation, foundation work, structural works, and finishing. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline.
Quality Management: Enforce stringent quality control procedures for all civil works, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. Regularly conduct site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship and material usage.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams. Facilitate smooth communication and resolve technical and commercial issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
Resource Management: Optimize deployment of human and material resources by coordinating with procurement, logistics, and HR teams. Ensure adequate manpower with required skill sets is available at the project site.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks related to civil construction such as site conditions, technical challenges, or regulatory delays. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize impact on project delivery.
Cost Control: Monitor and control civil project budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution without compromising quality or safety. Approve expenditure related to civil works and recommend cost-saving measures.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all civil construction activities adhere to environmental regulations, health, and safety standards as per Adani’s corporate policies. Promote a safety-first culture among all project personnel.
Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide engineering and site teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work workplace. Promote continuous learning and skills development aligned with organizational goals.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed progress reports, technical documentation, and compliance records for senior management and regulatory authorities. Maintain accurate project records for audit and reference purposes.
Innovation and Sustainability: Drive the adoption of creative civil engineering techniques and sustainable construction practices that align with Adani’s commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence.

Unwavering commitment to safety and quality standards Qualifications Education Qualification Bachelor’s or Diploma in civil engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Experience 15-18 years of progressive experience in civil engineering & project management.
Experience in within the Power/Energy industry (5-7 Years), including experience handling large-scale infrastructure and power plant construction projects.
