Cloud Delivery Manager Cloud Migrations (GCP)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Cloud Delivery Manager to lead complex enterprise migration and modernization programmes to GCP. The role combines accountable delivery leadership with sufficient technical depth to challenge solution decisions, govern risks, and earn client trust through the full migration lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Own end-to-end programme delivery across discovery, assessment, landing-zone readiness, wave planning, migration execution, cutover, warranty, and transition to operations. Overall responsible for Project/People/Account Management.

Lead multiple cross-functional and distributed teams; manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive governance. Awareness of Data Privacy, Security, IP & Responsible AI activities

¢ Review solution architectures and migration strategies; validate application dependency maps, migration waves, security, resilience, performance, operability, and cost assumptions.

¢ Chair migration readiness and technical governance forums such as ARB, WAR etc.; lead Go/No-Go decisions, coordinate cutover, rollback, business validation, warranty, and service acceptance.

¢ Partner with client business, security, infrastructure, application, data, and operations leaders to translate technical constraints into clear business impacts and decisions.

¢ Establish delivery metrics including migration throughput, schedule variance, defect leakage, cutover success, availability, performance, cloud spend, and benefits realization.

¢ Drive adoption of cloud governance and FinOps practices, including policy, tagging, cost allocation, budget controls, rightsizing, and optimization backlogs.

¢ Support presales, estimates, solution shaping, delivery assurance, account growth, and capability development; coach delivery managers and technical leads.





¢ Use approved enterprise GenAI tools responsibly to improve planning, reporting, risk analysis, knowledge management, and stakeholder communication while protecting data and intellectual property.

Required qualifications and skills

¢ Experience: 9 years to 14 years in IT delivery, including 5+ years leading large cloud transformation, application modernization, infrastructure, or migration programmes; experience managing multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders and program execution using Agile & Hybrid methodologies

¢ GCP platform expertise: Functional knowledge of resource hierarchy (organizations, folders, projects), IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Cloud KMS, and backup/DR concepts. Familiarity with migration strategy patterns such as rehost, replatform, refactor etc.

¢ Security and resilience: Ability to govern identity, network segmentation, key management, logging, vulnerability remediation, backup/DR, business continuity, and regulatory requirements.

¢ Delivery methods: RAID management, financial governance, change control, and executive reporting. Working knowledge of project tracking systems (Jira/Confluence/ADO/Project) & usage of Gen AI tools for Delivery Management

¢ Engineering fluency: Working understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers/Kubernetes (GKE), APIs, integration patterns, and SRE/observability fundamentals.

¢ Communication: Ability to facilitate architecture reviews and explain technical trade-offs, costs, risks, and migration decisions to business and engineering audiences.

Preferred qualifications and skills

¢ Experience with Google Cloud Architecture Framework, Cloud Foundation Toolkit, landing-zone/foundation programmes, and Google Cloud migration methodologies.

¢ Google Cloud certification: Google Cloud Digital Leader, Skilled Cloud Architect or equivalent.
