Role Description:

We're looking for a Demand Generation & SEO individual to turn search into a reliable source of qualified pipeline for FORKOFF and our clients. This is a full-time, on-site role in Bangalore.

Buyers in AI, SaaS and Web3 increasingly find vendors inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, where there is no blue link to rank for and the brand cited most often wins the answer. We treat classic search and AI search as one problem, and our contracts are tied to results rather than to activity. The playbook, the tooling and the data already exist here. The owner does not. That is this role.

What you will own

- Keyword, cluster and intent maps across multiple properties and client accounts, not a single site
- Technical SEO: site structure, internal linking, crawl and index health, Core Web Vitals, sitemaps, canonicals, redirects
- Real indexation diagnosis. Knowing why 40 pages sit in "Discovered, currently not indexed" and which three fixes move it, instead of clicking Request Indexing and hoping
- AEO and GEO: structured data, AI crawler access, and the on-page work that gets a page cited by an answer engine rather than skipped
- Off-site citations, mentions and the authority signals AI search actually reads
- Briefing and editing conversion-focused content and landing pages. You decide what gets written, and you edit it hard
- Search-led long-form video. You decide what should exist on YouTube against real buyer questions and brief it. Our video team produces it, you own whether it works
- Digital PR, editorial placements and a link portfolio built to a real quality bar, not bought by the hundred
- Reporting that ties rankings and citations to leads and pipeline, and stays honest about what is measured versus modelled

How you will be measured

- Qualified organic and AI-search sessions, and what share of them converts
- Leads and pipeline attributable to search
- Citation share across the major answer engines for the questions our buyers actually ask




- Indexation and coverage health across the portfolio
- Whether client engagements hit the outcomes we committed to

Rankings are an input, not a result. We set these targets with you, not for you.

What we are looking for

- 2 to 4 years in SEO, demand generation, or both. Ideally B2B, SaaS, AI or web3. Less time but stronger proof, apply anyway and lead with the proof
- Genuine technical SEO ability, not just the ability to read a crawl report
- A defensible point of view on how AI search picks its sources. You do not need all of it right. You do need to have thought past a LinkedIn carousel
- Schema and JSON-LD, basic HTML, and enough comfort in a codebase to find the template without booking an engineer
- Hands-on with Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console and GA4. SERP and keyword data at API level is a plus
- One story where organic work you owned turned into leads or revenue, with the numbers, including what did not work
- Self-directed, and transparent in writing. A lot of this job is a brief, an audit, or an argument for why we should not do something

Nice to have

- Hands-on digital PR or link outreach
- Python or scripting to pull and join SEO data
- Programmatic SEO at real scale
- YouTube search, or having briefed video that was built to answer a query rather than to look good
- A personal site or project that ranks or gets cited. That tells us more than any CV line
