We are looking for a qualified Database developer to design stable, robust, and reliable database objects, and processes, to effectively manage large amounts of information. You will be responsible for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Design stable, reliable and effective database objects, and processes
- Optimize and maintain legacy systems
- Modify and perform tests on database objects, and processes according to requests
- Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
- Identify new features based on user requirements
- Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
- Research and suggest recent database products, services, and protocols
- Develop technical and training manuals
- Provide data management support to users
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience as a Database developer
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Exceptional critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
- In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
- Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server Services is a plus
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- An ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Degree in information technology, computer science, or an adjacent field.
- Certificate in Database Development is strongly advantageous.
• 5+ years Engineering of Enterprise grade Database systems such as SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, or DB2
