We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist / AI-ML Engineer with strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Generative AI. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Python, LLMs, and modern AI practices including Prompt Engineering, RAG, and Agentic AI systems. The role involves building scalable AI solutions and working on cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions
- Work on LLM-based applications, including prompt optimization and fine-tuning
- Build and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Develop and manage Agentic AI workflows / autonomous agents
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization
- Build scalable backend systems using Python
- Work with structured and unstructured data using SQL and databases
- Deploy and manage AI models on cloud platforms
- Ensure adherence to Responsible AI principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven solutions
Mandatory Skills
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)
- Solid knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong understanding of Python Design Principles
- Hands-on experience with Git (version control)
- Experience in Machine Learning (ML) concepts and implementation
- Hands-on exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI)
- Experience working with LLMs (Large Language Models)
- Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks
- Exposure to Agentic AI / AI agents / autonomous workflows
- Strong skills in Prompt Engineering
- Understanding of Responsible AI concepts
- Experience with Databases and SQL Queries o SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Computer Science fundamentals & design principles
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
o Candidate must be comfortable working on Azure or have solid fundamentals
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant fields:
o CS / IT Engineering o MCA / BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science)
o Statistics (only if the entire career is in IT)
o ETC Engineering (only if the entire career is in IT)
