Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with expertise in Azure Databricks and up-to-date cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing implementation-ready conceptual, logical, and physical data models within Azure Databricks (Delta Lake) using the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) .

The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Data Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance data models that are development-ready with clearly defined schemas, relationships, SQL definitions, and transformation logic.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for enterprise data platforms.
- Build implementation-ready data models in Azure Databricks (Delta Lake) following Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

- Design schemas across

- Bronze Layer

- Silver Layer

- Gold Layer

- Define

- Entities

- Attributes

- Relationships
- Primary & Foreign Keys

- Constraints

- Data Types
- Create implementation-ready DDL SQL scripts for Data Engineering teams.
- Define transformation logic between Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.




- Apply Delta Lake best practices for scalable and reliable data modeling.

- Develop and maintain

- ER Diagrams

- Data Dictionary
- Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM)

- Metadata Documentation
- Apply advanced data modeling methodologies including:

- Third Normal Form (3NF)

- Star Schema

- Snowflake Schema

- Data Vault Modeling
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Data Engineers, and Analytics teams to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable data models.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, governance, and performance optimization.
- Support Data Engineering teams during implementation by providing clear, build-ready models.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Database Design.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
