Position Summary
Phenom Cloud is looking for a Data Engineer (3–6 years) to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-performance data systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.
- Optimize data processing systems for performance and scalability.
- Integrate data from diverse systems using APIs and streaming platforms.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams for data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
- Mentor junior team members and review deliverables.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, etc.).
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Robust problem-solving and technical design skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data modeling and warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.).
- Experience in real-time data processing.
