Job Summary The Credit Manager SME Working Capital is responsible for evaluating and underwriting Working Capital proposals for SME customers. The role involves conducting detailed credit assessments, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and ensuring compliance with the bank's credit policies while maintaining portfolio quality and turnaround time (TAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and underwrite SME Working Capital proposals, including:
- Cash Credit (CC)
- Overdraft (OD)
- Working Capital Demand Loan (WCDL)
- Bank Guarantee (BG)
- Letter of Credit (LC)
- Analyze financial statements, GST returns, ITRs, bank statements, and CMA data.
- Assess business viability, cash flows, repayment capacity, and industry risk.
- Conduct borrower and collateral due diligence.
- Prepare detailed credit appraisal notes and recommend proposals within delegated authority.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Legal, Technical, and Compliance teams for smooth loan processing.
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, RBI guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor portfolio quality and identify early warning signals.
- Maintain defined turnaround time (TAT) for credit decisions.
