Analyst -Global Credit Administration (GCA)

Key responsibilities

- The MGS -GCA, team supports Credit Underwriting and Credit Administration (CU&A;) function for multiple branches of the Mizuho Group, across the globe.
- The Analyst will be assigned specific regions and have KRAs around quality, turn- around- time etc.
- The scope of the Analyst’s work would include but not be limited to:
- spreading of financials,
- arriving at an internal credit rating for Mizuho’s customers,

- preparing the financial analysis commentary,




- industry research and write -up,
- preparation of various credit related forms and applications,
- post approval activities such as covenant monitoring and control.

- complete and comprehensive credit related write -ups
- The team member will support preparation of various MIS/audit files etc. as required
- Ensure all compliance related trainings are met before due date.

- Provide ideas process re-engineering/process improvements, for redundant and unnecessary steps.
- Process transactions as per the Operating Procedures defined.
- Ensure the transactions are handled and completed as per the agreed SLA.

- Provide support to senior team members in amending/making of Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs)
- Support preparation of detailed training manuals, reckoners and SOPs
- Provide support as per guidance received, to help the Section Head/ in migration of current projects across regions, pertaining to Credit Underwriting and Administration.

- Support new team members and junior colleagues in knowledge transfer and continuous learning.

Specific responsibilities for Analyst in Credit Admin process(across branches to be handled):

- Client set up and onboarding

- Credit limit set up in various systems




- Preparation of covenant control sheets
- Testing, tracking /monitoring of covenants
- Updation of covenants in the relevant systems

- Continuous tracking of various reports pertaining to maturity dates of facilities, credit rating, collateral and such other information
- Circulation and timely updation of various reports, up dation of various loan systems towards timely MIS pertaining to borrowers to all relevant stakeholders
- Set up and track non-financial conditions of credit approval.

Experience and Qualification

- 3-5 years of experience in credit underwriting and administration activities preferably of large corporates in a Global financial institution/credit rating agency

- Exposure working with global stakeholders will be preferred
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal), particularly with clients
- Strong Subject Matter Expertise -including

- expert financial analysis,
- report writing skills,
- knowledge of wholesale banking products such as working capital, term loans, project finance
- Strong analytical interpretation and ability to articulate and justify to a larger client audience

- Strong Customer orientation to ensure customer experience is excellent
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Strong professionals with MBA(Finance/Banking)/CA/CMA/similar courses with 3-5 years of end-to-end credit underwriting across large corporates, in diverse industrial sectors.

Exposure to the global markets such as APAC/EMEA/US will be preferred.
