- Perform structural crashworthiness, Pedestrian Protection and occupant safety analysis using LS-Dyna
- Execute Pedestrian safety simulations and evaluate pedestrian injury performance
- Determine the appropriate countermeasures to meet the criteria if simulation outcomes are below target performance
- Create detailed engineering documentation of simulation analysis by generating written reports and working with design engineers
- Strong knowledge in automotive structure, crashworthiness, and safety performance
- Hands-on experience utilizing the various safety CAE software packages for pre/post processing (ANSA, Primer etc.)
- Strong analytical skills to make meaningful conclusions from CAE simulations
- In-depth understanding of LS-Dyna explicit solver, material models is must
- Solid knowledge of Automotive Crash Standards such as FMVSS, IIHS Euro NCAP, UNECE
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Automotive Crash analysis.
- Knowledge of software tools required to carry out the required tasks
- Knowledge of Python programming will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Proficient skills in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proficient time management and organisation skills
