Role Description The Counsellor – Australia role is a full time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The counsellor will guide prospective students through the process of choosing suitable Australian education options, including programs, institutions, and locations aligned with their academic background, interests, and goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual counselling sessions, providing accurate information about entry requirements, visa processes, and living in Australia, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Australian universities and colleges. The counsellor will manage student inquiries, support application and documentation processes, coordinate with institutions and internal teams, and ensure a high-quality,



customer-focused experience. The role also involves tracking student progress, maintaining records in internal systems, participating in events and seminars, and contributing to team targets and service standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide accurate, unbiased educational guidance and support for students considering Australia as a study destination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to conduct effective counselling sessions and build trusted relationships with students and families.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases, documentation, and application timelines efficiently.
- Comfort using digital tools, CRM systems, and online platforms to manage student information and track progress.
- Knowledge of Australian higher education systems, admission requirements, and student visa processes (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet service and performance goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counselling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counselling, international education, or study-abroad services is beneficial.
