Hey, we are glad you found this. We are MyCareernet -- a platform built for job seekers and the people who hire them -- and we are looking for a writer who genuinely loves putting words together. Not someone who has it all figured out. Someone who gets a little excited when they sit down to start a current piece.
Here is what your days will look like
Your main focus will be on crafting blog articles that are well-researched, well-written, and ready to publish. These are real articles that real people will read. You will cover careers, hiring, workplace culture, and everything in between. It is a rhythm, and once you find it, it feels great.
- Collaborate with our marketing folks to make sure your content ties into the bigger picture (campaigns, launches, and what our audience is asking for).
- Learn and apply SEO and AEO best practices so the articles you work hard on actually get found.
- Occasionally repurpose a great blog into social snippets (because good stories deserve more than one stage!).
You will fit right in if you are...
- Someone who loves writing (actually loves it). You notice a well-turned sentence. You read things you did not have to.
- A hungry learner who can pick up a new topic, get curious about it quickly, and turn that curiosity into something worth reading.
- Reliable and self-driven.
You manage your time well and take ownership of your work without needing someone to check in on you constantly.
- A warm team player who takes feedback well and genuinely enjoys working with others. We are a collaborative bunch and we want someone who adds to that energy.
- Keen on doing things right, whether that means following content best practices, double-checking a fact, or spending five extra minutes on a headline.
A few nice-to-haves
- Writing samples (say, blog articles, newsletters, anything you are proud of)
- Some experience with AI writing or research tools
- Some familiarity with SEO basics or a curiosity to learn
- Comfort with tools like Google Docs or MS Office
- Interest in careers, HR, or how people find the work they love
What you will walk away with
- A portfolio of published articles you actually built
- Mentorship from a team that wants to see you grow
- Hands-on experience with SEO and editorial craft
- A place where your voice matters from day one
If reading this felt like someone was speaking your language, please reach out. Send us something you have written that you are proud of, and a short note on why a career in content excites you.
