- Position: Consultant (Chief Security Officer) One Position (contractual appointment for a period of one year, extendable subject to mutual consent and company's requirement)
Place of Posting: Palatana Tripura Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university / institution
Experience: Minimum 12 Years of relevant experience in the area of security, Preferably Ex-Army / CAPF / BSF /State Police (in the rank of Major/DSP/ Deputy Commandant & above or equivalent)
Compensation: Rs. 93,000 /- pm (Fixed as per approved norms) + upto Rs. 5000/- towards communication charges (Mobile phone charges)
- Coordinate with OTPC Management and the Tripura State Rifles (TSR) on all day-to-day activities related to plant security.
- Ensure optimum deployment of security personnel and arrange
periodic training to enhance operational preparedness.
- Monitor and supervise the physical frisking of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the plant premises.
- Liaise with the TSR Headquarters, local police authorities, intelligence agencies, courts, and local Panchayats on security-related matters.
- Ensure a peaceful, protected, and harmonious environment within the plant and Khilpara Township premises in district Gomati, Tripura.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local villagers, community representatives, and union leaders to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Act as a trouble-shooter during industrial relations (IR) issues or any security related disturbances to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure robust security measures to prevent theft, pilferage, trespassing, and other security breaches, thereby maintaining a secure plant environment.
- Monitor and strengthen the overall security framework through regular inspections, risk assessments, and implementation of preventive measures.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
Required Profile:
- Should possess proven experience in industrial security management in a large industrial establishment.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Should have good analytical ability so as to identify the problems in incipient stage, analyze and take corrective actions in consultation with COO.
- Excellent Human-relations & liaising skills
- Knowledge of the local language will be an added advant
