Role Description The Construction Contracts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi, responsible for overseeing all contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with vendors, contractors, and consultants, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

The manager will monitor contract performance, manage variations and claims, and maintain accurate documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with the design and project management teams, tracking budgets and timelines, mitigating contractual risk, and supporting resolution of disputes.



The role requires regular on-site interaction with stakeholders to ensure that contract terms support safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of construction contracts, commercial terms, and relevant legal frameworks, preferably within architecture and planning or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration for multi-stakeholder construction projects.
- Proficiency in project documentation, budgeting, cost control, and reporting using common office and project management tools.
- Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, with clear, professional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in managing claims, variations, and risk mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an on-site contracts or commercial management role, ideally in South Delhi or similar urban environments.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, non-discriminatory practices, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
