Role Description The Communication Trainer role is a full time, on-site position based in West Bengal, India. The trainer will design and deliver communication and soft skills sessions for diverse learner groups, including students, job seekers, and working professionals, using interactive and learner-centered methodologies.
Responsibilities include creating and updating training curricula and lesson plans, conducting classroom and lab-based activities, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback and coaching. The role involves maintaining training records, coordinating with center staff,
participating in trainer development sessions, and aligning content and delivery with Learnet’s standards and employer requirements. The trainer will also support learners with interview preparation, workplace readiness, and intercultural communication for better employability outcomes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Intercultural Communication skills for diverse classrooms and stakeholder interactions.
- Candidates should possess Training and Curriculum Development skills to plan, deliver, and improve effective learning programs.
- Candidates should possess Writing skills to prepare training materials, reports, learner feedback, and assessment content.
- Candidates should possess classroom facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Relevant experience in communication training, soft skills, or English language training, ideally within vocational or employability-focused programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field; professional certifications in training or TESOL/TEFL are an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and local languages of West Bengal, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfort working with learners from varied socio-economic backgrounds and willingness to travel locally for training-related activities, if required.
