We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis I – Oriental Kitchen to support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality Oriental/Asian cuisine while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Oriental/Asian dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure proper mise en place and timely food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Support smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Oriental/Asian kitchen is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food hygiene.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced hotel/restaurant environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
