We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Collection Manager to lead our collections team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in NBFC collections, preferably in Payday Loans or Digital Lending, and should be capable of managing team performance while ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the daily collection activities of the team.
- Ensure timely recovery of overdue payments and achieve collection targets.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to improve recovery rates.
- Track team performance through MIS and regular reporting.
- Handle escalated customer cases and resolve disputes professionally.
- Coordinate with Operations, Credit, and Compliance teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI guidelines, and ethical collection practices.
- Train, mentor, and motivate collection executives to improve productivity.
- Analyze collection data and identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 To 5 years of experience in Collections within an NBFC is mandatory.
- Experience in Payday Loan / Digital Lending Collections is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing a collections team.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve monthly collection targets.
