Position: Co-Teacher (PYP)

Role Summary The Co-Teacher will support the Classroom Teacher in delivering an engaging, inquiry-based learning programme aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). This is a full time role supporting teaching, classroom management, assessment, and the overall wellbeing of pupils.

Location: King's College UK, Gurugram, Sector 59, Bandhwari, Gurugram, Haryana 122102

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

- Support the planning and delivery of IB PYP lessons and Units of Inquiry.
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.




- Support pupil learning through effective classroom practices.
- Assist with formative and summative assessment, documentation, and student portfolios.
- Promote the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning (ATL).
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.

Essential Requirements

- Prior experience in an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) school is mandatory.
- Completion of an IB PYP workshop is essential.
- Bachelor's degree and a recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and the IB philosophy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
