CNC Operator (Diploma / ITI Mechanical, 0–6 Months Experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

- Operate CNC Turning and Milling machines as per production requirements.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform machine setup assistance under the guidance of senior operators.
- Measure components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality.
- Monitor machine operations and report any abnormalities or machine issues.
- Ensure components meet dimensional and quality specifications.
- Replace cutting tools and perform basic tool offset corrections when required.
- Maintain production records and complete job documentation accurately.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure cleanliness around the work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).




- Support preventive maintenance activities and routine machine cleaning.
- Work effectively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn CNC programming, machine setup, and advanced machining techniques.

Preferred Skills
- ITI (Fitter/Turner/Machinist) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of CNC Turning and CNC Milling operations.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T; fundamentals is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Valuable mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and eagerness to learn.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
