– Cluster Owner – Thermal Line Maintenance (TOPCon Solar Cell Manufacturing)

Job Summary The Cluster Owner – Thermal Line is responsible for the reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Thermal process equipment used in solar cell manufacturing, including Diffusion Furnaces, PECVD Systems, Oxidation/Annealing Furnaces, and associated automation, vacuum, gas delivery, and utility systems . The role ensures maximum equipment uptime, process stability, product quality, and protected operation while driving TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance

- Own the maintenance and reliability of the Thermal production cluster.
- Ensure maximum uptime of Diffusion, PECVD, Oxidation, Annealing, and related thermal process equipment.
- Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and PLC/automation-related issues.
- Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and acceptance.

Production Support

- Ensure equipment readiness to achieve production targets.
- Support Process Engineering during recipe qualification and process optimization.




- Reduce equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting and RCA.
- Coordinate with Production, Process, Quality, and Utilities teams for smooth operations.

Reliability & Continuous Improvement

- Drive TPM, OEE, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Why-Why Analysis, and FMEA for recurring failures.
- Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR through reliability improvement projects.
- Lead cost reduction and energy optimization initiatives.

Utilities & Safety

- Maintain Vacuum Systems, Gas Cabinets, MFCs, Scrubbers, Chillers, CDA, Cooling Water, and Exhaust Systems associated with Thermal equipment.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, LOTO, Permit-to-Work, and cleanroom safety standards.
- Maintain 5S and equipment housekeeping.

Documentation & Spare Management

- Prepare SOPs, PM schedules, maintenance records, breakdown reports, and equipment history.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory and vendor support.
- Maintain documentation in SAP PM/CMMS.

Team Management

- Lead maintenance technicians and shift engineers.
- Plan manpower, assign maintenance activities, and monitor performance.
- Conduct technical training and competency development.
