About The Role HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving solution design and engineering initiatives aimed at accelerating the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at the enterprise level. As a key contributor, you will lead complex cloud migration, modernization, and data engineering projects, leveraging your expertise in AI-driven automation and industry-specific use cases.

You will work closely with global sales teams, technical architects, and strategic partners to craft compelling go-to-market strategies, develop innovative solutions, and secure customer wins across diverse sectors such as banking, retail, healthcare, and telecommunications. This position demands a proactive individual with a blend of technical prowess, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Your role will involve designing reference architectures, conducting technical workshops, and collaborating with partners to create scalable, industry-specific cloud solutions that align with customer objectives and industry best practices.



The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP services, data engineering, and AI platforms, with a proven track record of working in complex enterprise environments.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

5 to 7 years of overall IT experience, with at least 2-3 years dedicated to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Strong technical proficiency in GCP Compute, Storage, and Networking services.

Expertise in Data Engineering, including Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as BigQuery and Looker.

Basic understanding of AI/ML platforms, including Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Experience working with Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners to develop joint solutions and scale go-to-market initiatives.

High-level industry domain knowledge in sectors like BFSI, RCPG, Telecom, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.

Exceptional soft skills, including executive presence, whiteboarding capabilities, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and strategic objectives.

Develop ROI models and hyperscale funding strategies to optimize Google Cloud consumption and demonstrate TCO benefits.

Design and lead technical workshops to showcase cloud migration strategies, modernization approaches, and data engineering solutions.





Create reference architectures and technical blueprints for data center migration, cloud-native application development, and enterprise data engineering stacks using BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI.

Ideate and design AI solutions such as Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance enterprise automation and cloud operations.

Build strong partnerships with GSI ecosystem partners, contributing to joint solution development and go-to-market activities.

Identify and map industry-specific value stream use cases, providing tailored cloud solutions that address unique business challenges.

Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and AI advancements to continuously enhance solution offerings.
