As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining the scalable cloud environments that power our global operations. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and security stakeholders to ensure our infrastructure remains resilient, high-performing, and compliant with international data standards. Your work directly impacts the reliability of our immigration platforms, ensuring that sensitive client data is handled securely while providing a seamless digital experience for users across multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS and Azure to support high-traffic immigration processing systems.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines using Docker and Jenkins to accelerate release cycles and improve system consistency.
- Manage and optimize Linux-based server environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance for mission-critical applications.
- Integrate robust cloud security protocols and monitoring tools to protect client information and maintain regulatory compliance across international jurisdictions.
- Develop custom scripts using Python to automate routine operational tasks,
reducing manual overhead and minimizing human error.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement proactive performance tuning strategies.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end cloud lifecycles within AWS and Azure ecosystems, with a focus on cost-optimization and high availability.
- Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and containerization strategies with Docker.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting, complemented by Python programming skills for infrastructure automation.
- Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks, including identity management, encryption standards, and network security policies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to communicate technical requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a distributed, remote-first workplace, maintaining high levels of autonomy and accountability across global time zones.
- Candidates should possess 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
