Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on R Clinical Automation Specialist to support Early Development Advanced Quantitative Sciences by developing R-based automation solutions and AI-assisted workflows. The role involves collaborating with statisticians, programmers, and data scientists to build, validate, and maintain reusable tools for clinical development in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop R-based automation tools, Shiny apps, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Build PoCs and convert them into production-ready, reusable solutions.
Leverage AI/LLM tools for coding, documentation, summarization, and workflow automation.
Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, validation, and version control.
Collaborate with cross-functional clinical teams to improve workflows.
Required Skills:
Strong R programming experience.
Clinical trials domain knowledge (CDISC, SDTM, ADaM).
Experience with R packages, Shiny, Quarto/R Markdown.
Git, testing, and software development best practices.
Experience using AI/LLM tools in development workflows.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualification:
Master’s degree/PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees in quantitative disciplines are preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience in clinical development analytics, statistical programming, clinical automation, or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
Preferred: Pharma, biotech, or CRO experience with regulated clinical development environments.
