Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are hiring for our client for the position of Psychologist.

We are looking for a dedicated Psychologist to provide psychological support, counselling, and emotional care to patients with Parkinsons Disease and their caregivers. The ideal candidate should have solid counselling skills, knowledge of psychological interventions, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide psychological counselling and emotional support to patients diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease and their caregivers.
- Conduct psychological assessments to understand patients emotional, cognitive, and behavioural needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on patient requirements.
- Provide guidance on coping strategies, stress management, and improving overall mental well-being.
- Support patients and caregivers in managing the emotional challenges associated with chronic illness.
- Maintain accurate patient records, counselling notes, assessment reports, and clinical documentation.




- Monitor patient progress and modify intervention plans as required.
- Collaborate with neurologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and contribute to patient care planning.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in psychological practice.

Candidate Requirements:

- Master's Degree (M.Sc. in Psychology) from a recognized university.
- 03 years of experience; candidates with exposure to chronic illness, geriatric populations, or neurodegenerative disorders will be preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Good counselling and patient interaction abilities.
- Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory.
- Candidates based in Chennai will be preferred.

Job Details: Location: Arumbakkam, Chennai

Working Hours: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Saturday: Half Working Day

Salary: Freshers: 18,000 per month
