The organization focuses on preventive health through regular screening programs designed to detect cancers and lifestyle-related diseases at an early stage. NURA’s services support individuals who may be asymptomatic, helping identify health risks when interventions are more effective.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Kozhikode.

The Civil

Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil works associated with NURA’s healthcare facilities and screening centers. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, coordinating site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supervising contractors and vendors. The role involves managing stormwater and drainage systems, evaluating structural integrity, and supporting facility expansion or renovation projects.

Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, healthcare operations teams, and external stakeholders to deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to healthcare infrastructure projects.

Experience working as Civil Engineers in planning and coordinating construction or facility development activities.

Knowledge of Planning for site layouts, utilities, and building services, ensuring functional and efficient healthcare environments.

Competence in Stormwater Management and related drainage design to maintain protected and sustainable facility operations.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Familiarity with local building codes, healthcare facility standards, and environmental regulations.

Proficiency with relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and basic project management practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.

Prior experience in commercial, institutional, or healthcare infrastructure projects is an advantage.
