Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in Commercial Interior Fit-Out projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in quantity estimation, BOQ/BOM preparation, billing, project costing, and site execution. This role requires a balance of office-based documentation and regular site visits to ensure projects are executed as per drawings, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) for commercial interior projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and interior drawings.
- Prepare project cost estimates, material requirements, and cost sheets.
- Prepare client bills, contractor bills, RA Bills, and final bills.
- Coordinate with Site Supervisors and execution teams to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Plan, monitor, and supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Visit project sites regularly for measurements, inspections, quality checks, billing verification, and progress monitoring.
- Allocate work to site supervisors and contractors while ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, procurement teams, vendors, and contractors for seamless project execution.
- Verify site measurements and quantities for billing, material reconciliation, and cost control.




- Prepare variation statements, quantity reconciliations, and project documentation.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and resources at project sites.
- Maintain project reports, billing records, and estimation documents.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues at project sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project specifications.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of BOQ, BOM, quantity estimation, billing, and project costing.
- Experience in Commercial Interior Fit-Out projects is mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior drawings.
- Valuable understanding of commercial interior materials, finishing works, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Interior Fit-Out projects.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience handling office interiors, retail spaces, hospitality projects, or other commercial fit-out projects.
- Comfortable managing both office documentation and on-site execution.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
